After months of fatigue and depression I finally felt a little better today, so as a way to celebrate I recorded this rock music-inspired organ improvisation tonight after I finished practicing at the church. Hopefully feeling better will continue!
(Prior to recording this improvisation I spent a wonderful evening in musical conversation with a Herr Doktor Johannes Brahms, one Herr Professor Max Reger, and a Monsieur Jehan Alain, organist at both Paris's Church of Saint-Nicolas de Maisons-Lafitte and the synagogue at the Rue Notre-Dame-de-Nazareth.)
The artwork for this video is the only real visual art I've created in a long time. I created this untitled "painting" last spring. It matches the upbeat mood of the improvisation.
