The Sopranos - Series Recommendation

Hello my fellow Steemians!!

Today I'm recommending a series... not any series... but THE series... my personal favourite anyhow.

And it's name is... "The Sopranos"

A true classic, but since it's possible to find people that haven't seen yet (specially younger people) and since I've started watching it again with my girlfriend (who hadn't seen it) , I decided with would be nice to mention this series.

So this is my recommendation.

"The Sopranos" premiered in 1999 on HBO and the last episode was aired in 2007.

One of the reasons I fell The Sopranos deserve a recommendation is that it is the responsible for this "golden age"of Tv we are living. Back then it was revolutionary for using cinematographic techniques and philosophies... it was also the first time we saw Film talent working in Tv.

To this day I've seen few things with the level of quality The Sopranos have.

The series was created by David Chase and it portrays the new Italian American Mafia in New Jersey. But it's really a series about America (and the world by extension) about family and about Tony, the protagonist trying to be a better person while being a gangster.

Without a doubt a series to watch or re-watch.
