And so the journey into the new year begins.

The Reality

My nation, the United States of America (and all the world it seems)
Is being torn to pieces by division.
Racism, secularism, capitalism, exclusivity, "haves vs have nots."

Now we have the sexual component where a man can barely
Open his mouth to express a thought or experience without being
Accused of sexual harassment, misconduct or worse, being a
Predator.
All a woman has to do is say he did this or that, and
Men are automatically presumed guilty, until
HE proves his innocence, which of course is
impossible after the many years have passed
Since the supposed event happened.

Men are abused and assaulted too you know.
I was.

So I came to Steemit in hopes of finding a place where I could
Share my writings, which as often as I can make them, are
Positive and uplifting.
I share some writings that are darker because they are about
ME, my life and experiences, but since I am human, I think
Most people can find something in my writings to
Resonate with.
An unfortunate part of today’s reality.

I came here HOPING to find a place of freedom and
Inclusion, and it WAS back then.
At least it seemed so to me.

Then the changes began. HF this and HF that,
splitting everything and everyone into “Tribes”, each one
Having their own “Token”, all of this being overseen in a
Site called “DISCORD”… why does no one but me see the
Disharmony in DISCORD?
I write about Oneness, but how
Can we all be one if we are being pulled apart this way?

Now, I can’t use certain tags, unless I’m writing about
“Mother Earth, eco-living, greening our planet, and
living in greener cities,” um… don’t I do that? If we
Are living together as brethren, won’t our planet become
Greener? Won’t our cities become greener?
I should think so.

I feel as if I am being frozen out of here, by the lack of acceptance
And the continual splitting up this ‘blockchain’ community.

Now you have to access 10 different apps and platforms just to be able
To post or upvote or comment, let alone retrieve your earnings.

This place has changed so that I no longer recognize it.
I fear my time here is limited, as I don’t want to
“Jump Through Hoops” that are getting ever more
Complex and confusing.
