Da aber in diesem Moment der Anpfiff zum Spiel Mexiko-Deutschland gemacht wird, muss ich den heutigen Künstler nur ganz kurz anreißen. Steve Wonder ist einer der bekanntesten Musiker unserer Zeit. Seine ersten Erfolge feierte er ab 1961 beim Motown-Label, bei dem er noch heute veröffentlicht. Anfang der 1970er Jahre stieg er zu einem der erfolgreichsten Unterhaltungskünstler der USA auf. Steve Wonder hat schwarze Musik auf neue Art und mit unterschiedlichen Spielarten bekannt gemacht. Blues, R&B, Soul, Funk, nichts was er nicht beherrschte oder gar fortentwickelte.

Superstition - wurde im Jahr 1972 von Motown Records als Haupt-Single zu Stevie Wonders Album Talking Book veröffentlicht. Diesen Song hat er auch bei Ernie + Bert gespielt.
