Healthy Lentil Soup with Garden Vegetables

  1. Lentil- 1 cup
  2. Carrots- 1/2 cup 1inch pieces
  3. Tomato- 1/2 cup 1inch pieces
  4. Egg plant- 1/2 cup 1inch pieces
  5. Salt- to taste
  6. Oil- to garnish
  7. Turmeric powder- 1 tsp
  8. Red Chili- 1 to garnish
  9. Cilantro- 7 stems

Recipe

Cook lentil and add all the sliced vegetables and turmeric. Cook until soft. Add salt to taste.

To garnish: Heat oil in a pan add the red chili pepper. Wait till the chili is brown in color. Add to the soup. Also add the cilantro.
