- Lentil- 1 cup
- Carrots- 1/2 cup 1inch pieces
- Tomato- 1/2 cup 1inch pieces
- Egg plant- 1/2 cup 1inch pieces
- Salt- to taste
- Oil- to garnish
- Turmeric powder- 1 tsp
- Red Chili- 1 to garnish
- Cilantro- 7 stems
Recipe
Cook lentil and add all the sliced vegetables and turmeric. Cook until soft. Add salt to taste.
To garnish: Heat oil in a pan add the red chili pepper. Wait till the chili is brown in color. Add to the soup. Also add the cilantro.
