Great article! Are you a planetary scientist? If so, greetings from a fellow planetary scientist! I'm mostly a Mars guy, but I think Venus is really. The volcanic features on the surface are fascinating too. I also once heard descending through the Venus atmosphere described as "sinking," due to the thickness. Love it.
