Since 1989, theoretical publications began to appear theoretical articles on "throws through time" with the help of "wormholes of space", "wormholes" and black holes. As is known, for the first time the idea of ​​the existence in the universe of some bridges (burrows that connect different points of the three-dimensional world along a shorter path in the 4th dimension) was expressed back in 1916. The hypothesis was called the "Einstein-Rosen bridge". Forty years later, in the late 1950s, John Wilhere brought the matter to mind, he also owns the more modern name of the theory - "wormholes".
In the late 1980s, American astrophysicist Kip Thorne was the first to use these moves to move in Time; which is simpler, you just have to lasso a couple of such "wormholes", spin their ends with a huge speed, as a result, we get ... a beautiful "laz" through the centuries! .. And although the well-known English theorist Stephen HOCKING believed that everything The space around us on the scale of the near-Plankian length (about 10 * - 43 cm) consists of microscopic "wormholes", nevertheless it is not yet clear how to saddle hypothetical "burrows". It should be noted that Thorn's theory, with some approximation, describes the behavior of "non-virgin" TM, although no one has the faintest idea what it is.
By the way, the same Hawking, the most famous theoretical physicist in the world, was categorically against the very possibility of building a TM even on the basis of wormholes, at least on the basis of something else, but at the end of 1996 he finally took his words back. We can say that in the world of great physics, the dispute about the possibility or impossibility of creating a TM from this point has ended unambiguously in favor of the optimists. I guess that for most of the townsfolk (and scientists) this fact was not known, most still recklessly think that physicists consider the TM a fantasy. Maybe one of the backward physicists thinks so, but only those who do not follow the latest works.
In addition to the American K.Torn, other well-known scientists should also be mentioned as authors of "hole" theoretical TMs: U. Jurtsever of the California Institute of Technology, M.Moris from the University of Wisconsin, and VS Barashenkova from the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR) in Dubna near Moscow, Igor D. NOVIKOV and Valery FROLOV, who worked until 1991 at the Moscow Space Research Institute (IKI), and later in Denmark and Canada.
As theorists who advanced the science of Time, academician Andrei Dmitrievich SAKHAROV (conducting his research in Gorky exile), Muscovites Yuri Alexandrovich Fomin and Yury Nikolaevich IVANOV are also most famous in our country. And of course - a European of Russian origin, Nobel Prize winner Ilya PRIGOZHIN, whose works in this field are best known (together with Glensdorf P.
