Scientists have identified a sample taste of water on Mars because of the crater Gale. The researchers suggested that the liquid is unpleasant smell and was bitter.

Curiosity rover transmitted to Earth information that allowed the scientists to conclude that the Gale crater was previously completely filled with water. After a careful analysis of the data the researchers were able to establish that the grooves on the crater emerged due to fluid evaporation, and water chemistry.
