A  team of astronomers have found results that show that the "Trojan  asteroids" orbiting Mars formed from a cluster of parts that had been  separated from it in the past.

 While many theories confirm that the "Trojan asteroids" orbiting Mars  arose from the formation of the solar system and settled in that area of  the universe, astronomers from the United States have come to  hypotheses that show the opposite of that information.

"The  VLT spectroscopy of eight Trojan asteroids showed that their  composition is very similar to that of Mars, and the elements on it have  the same origin as the elements of the red planet," the scientists said  in an interview with Nature Astronomy. "The rocks on the surface of  Mars and those asteroids are rich Pyroxene, peridot and agate, and many other minerals and precious stones that exist on a number of planets of the solar system.

"We  think that these asteroids are objects that separated from Mars in the  past, as a result of a large meteoroid collision, and began to spin in  orbit, did not come from the belt asteroids between Mars and Jupiter as  scientists had thought in the past.

Martian  asteroids are a group of objects that share the same orbit of Mars  around the Sun and can be found around the Lagrange points that lie in  front of and behind the Red Planet. These celestial objects are the  focus of many astronomers, many of whom differ from the origin of their  origin.

Looks great and looks like a lot of fun.

@mars9

Ever since Stephen Hawking announced that humans have 100 years to move out from earth I have been thinking about the different options that are available nearby. Mars does seem an option but only in a controlled environment.

I believe there is an option that is available millions of light years away and the technology to travel long distances fast is not going to be available in the near future. If something can be created for beaming humans down wherever possible it will prevent the human race from becoming extinct.

Thanks for putting out this useful information!

Thanks! I didn't know about those new VLT results.

Maybe could you consider adding to your post a few more references soi that people could click and get more information? (In other words, citing your sources :). Thanks in advance four your consideration!

Great article!
I wonder if the moons of mars are part of the same asteroids?
