Mission the EXPERT – on guards of space weather

20 years ago NASA has started a mission the EXPERT. It is the most up-to-date probe which has been placed into an orbit between the Sun and Earth in Lagrange's point 1. Such arrangement allows him to fix all sunlight directed towards Earth. He warns about the forthcoming solar storms, fixes solar wind and analyzes all completeness of space radiation: from ions of solar wind to kernels of galactic space beams. For 1997 it was the breakthrough mission which in 20 years of work has allowed to understand better space, than it is saturated that it is in respect of radiation. 

We will note that originally the mission has been calculated on five years, but considerably I was ahead of schedule work. With the help the EXPERT important discoveries in astrophysics which, perhaps, aren't so advertized have been made. For example, he has found out that the Sun contains more heavy elements, than has to, proceeding from the situation in the galaxy. It says about origin of our star. Or it was formed once closer to the center of the galaxy, or formation of the Sun was influenced by the stars which were earlier blowing up in the neighboring region enriching our future star with heavy elements.
