Mysterious ice ridges on Pluto

The scientific group of NASA investigated unusual educations on the surface of Pluto near the equator of the minor planet. The device "New Horizons" has managed to photograph these educations during the flight by Pluto in July, 2015. These educations are ice ridges and teeth which highly rise over a planetoid surface – by hundreds of meters. The research has shown that these educations consist of methane, and increase happens when seasons change and the surface heats up slightly more. There is a sublimation of methane which quickly again accumulates on a surface of teeth at height why their growth continues. This process lasts in time millions of years. Formation of such teeth once again confirms that Pluto possesses the difficult geological and climatic history.
