On September 22 the office of NASA OSIRIS-REx will approach Earth to make gravitational maneuver. In the next point at 19:52 Moscow time OSIRIS-Rex will fly by in only 16 thousand km from Earth. This gravitational maneuver will allow the probe to receive the necessary inclination of an orbit to go for rapprochement with an asteroid to Benn whose orbit is inclined in relation to terrestrial by six degrees. The device started on September 8, 2016 already made several maneuvers with use of own engines. It were corrections of a course on October 7 and on December 28, 2016, on January 18 and on August 23, 2017. OSIRIS-Rex came to a maneuver trajectory near Earth. He will approach our planet, having done a way of nearly 600 million miles, at a speed of 19 thousand miles per hour. He will fly by over Australia and Antarctica. And approximately for an hour touch because of features of an orbit will be lost with it. At 23:52 Moscow time OSIRIS-Rex will begin scientific observations of Earth and the Moon to calibrate the tools before a meeting with an asteroid to Benn at the end of 2018.
