The Curiosity mars rover made a series of pictures of the ridge of Vera Rubin on which its climbing is planned. Height of a point by which rover will rise is 65 meters. For this Curiosity it is necessary to pass 570 meters. The route is laid already out after a series of the previous pictures. Photos are made the cameras MastCam and ChemCam. This ridge is interesting that in it the whole layers of minerals of different eras remained. There is a lot of oxide of iron, hematite, sedimentary breeds, streaks of different chemical compounds and also traces of different types of an erosion. On the way of Curiosity will study these objects, adding a pattern of geology of Mars.
