This is second time when the lunar eclipse will be held on 27th July, 2018. First time it was seen on 31st January, 2018. So it is a good opportunity for celestial lovers to have a stunning view of blood moon eclipse on this Friday night. Do not miss to see this moon eclipse because the next lunar eclipse will be seen on 7th September 2025, according to N Sri Raghunandan Kumar of Planetary Society, India.
I think everyone knows how moon eclipse occurs. However I would like to mention it again. During orbiting around the Sun when the Earth comes between the Moon and Sun, it causes moon eclipse. For this condition the Sun, Moon and the Earth must be aligned in a straight line. During this alignment, the Earth prevents sunrays from reaching the Moon. Therefore lunar eclipse happens.
Various countries such as Australia, Russia, Antarctica, Europe, Asia, Africa, Scandanavia, Central and Eastern South America will have this stunning moon eclipse view. There is no harm to observe this total lunar eclipse with naked eye. However binoculars and telescope will give you a best view of a lunar eclipse.
Eclipse in various phases begins at 10.45 PM on 27th July 2018 and ends at 4.59 AM on 28th July 2018. Wherein the noticeable Umbral phase begins at 11.54 PM and ends at 3.49 AM. Whereas from 1.00 AM to 2.43 AM the totality phase (Moon completely hidden in Umbra/Earth’s darker Shadow) occurs.
