Biggest step forward since Falcon 9 (Hopefully!)

Earliest possible launch is Monday, but they have dates open through Saturday. Knowing Elon, 4/20 is the primary target.

This first orbital launch of a starship stack is going to be immense. It has nearly double the power of a Saturn V or NASA's new SLS launcher, and it's all reusable...but this first one won't be recovered.

The booster will do a soft landing in the gulf of Mexico, the starship will do a nearly complete orbit and re-enter to land in the water of Kauai. Probably an early morning launch and a dark landing.

There are SO many things that can go wrong, it could be spectacular even if it fails. If it works, this will be the biggest step forward since the original Falcon 9.
