Planet 55 Cancri e, it was believed to be the first known planet to consist large amount of diamond, due to be in part to the high carbon-to-oxygen ratio of its host star.

This planet is what's known as a super-Earth as it is likely a rocky world orbiting a sun-like star.
But it has a radius twice as large of our own planet and eight times greater mass.

This hot planet also races around it's star at such a close distance that one year only lasts just 18 hours.

After Drawing on indirect observations of the planet, study of researchers of 2012 suggested that its interior contained more carbon than oxygen.

But in a new research analysis, Teske and his colleagues found that the host star doesn't appear as much carbon-rich as previously thought.
This have dashed hopes for a diamond-packed 55 Cancri e.

Such things about space, we can only imagine them where the researchers are finding one after another mysteries.
Best way to find out about them is to become a researcher yourself.

If you have any interest about Space, you should research about them.
Good luck to you guys :)
