New Zealand, whose name is not heard much in space studies, received great criticism for the satellite which was sent. New Zealand-based Rocket Lab's satellite, which it sent to orbit last week, will reflect the Sun's rays to Earth and be seen from any point on Earth. If everything goes as planned, for 9 months this satellite will be the brightest object in the sky.

Rocket Lab's Humanity Star name is aiming to remind everyone on Earth that we are on Earth. The general manager of the company explained that thanks to this satellite we will all have a chance to experience a common experience.

But other astronomers are responsive to the launched satellite. Richard Easther of the University of Auckland explained that the spread of these actions could bring astronomers on the street. Caleb Scharf, Director of Astrobiology at the University of Columbia, said that it was "attacking the personal universe of the fittest", evaluating it to Scientific American magazine. Schard also reacted to the project by saying, "None of us are reflecting the company slogans into the summit of Everest."

I have not heard of this project, interesting.

attacking the personal universe of the fittest

I don't understand what this is saying. What is this person trying to say? The other quote confuses me as well.
