The Entire Observable Universe In One Photograph

in space •  7 years ago  (edited)

An artist named Pablo Carlos Budassi blew my mind away by creating this spectacular photograph of the entire observable universe as we know it.

Budassi began creating the map using logarithmic maps from Princeton and then added photographs from NASA taken by the Hubble Telescope.

He placed the sun in the center, then our planets, then the Milky Way, a ring of other galaxies, and finally halos of radiation and plasma from the Big Bang.

It looks like a giant eye to me.

Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, is more mind blowing that the Universe and what it is.

It's fantastic. I like how it's makes us the "center" of the universe.

It really does look like a giant eye

The details are amazing. And it does look like an eye. A really fancy version of Sauron's eye
