The Boeing company states that development of Starliner goes according to the plan. At this stage the hardware testing is held. In the middle of 2018 launch of the ship in the pilotless orbiting mode on the carrier rocket "Atlas 5" is planned. After that, presumably at the beginning of 2019, the test piloted flight will take place, for this purpose one year prior to it selection of crew in case of cooperation with NASA will begin. After passing of all tests of NASA will conclude the contract with Boeing for six flights to the ISS with crew. In passing Boeing will look for other applications for Starliner.
