SpaceX is planning to launch two small satellites for testing called Microsat 2a and Microsat 2b. This is part of Starlink project which launches 4000 satellites.
In addition to the above two test satellites, SpaceX also sends out a 3000-pound laser observation satellite called "Paz" for the Spanish government to space. The Falcon 9 rocket carrying these shipments is fired from the Vandenberg Air Force base in California.
This is to further test the Falcon 9 rocket fairing. The Fairing is an important part installed at the tip of the rocket and protects the payload. According to space.com, Falcon 9 rocket parts are reused from previous missions. This is the first stage booster used for the launch of the satellite Formosat - 5 Taiwan in August 2017.
Starlink announced three years ago is a large-scale telecommunications network constructed from space using thousands of compact satellites that communicate with each other.
Elon Musk says "SpaceX will try it on satellites what he did for his rocket." The current plan is to create a low-cost global Internet service in a location that should be by mid-2020. Also, Starlink project revenues are used for ongoing missions to Mars.
