Booster came back and hovered over the gulf of Mexico. Starship had video on re-entry, and you could watch as one of four fins was burning up and disintegrating.
Despite that, and a couple losses of video, you could watch it slow to subsonic, then the engines lit, it flipped vertical, and hovered for a moment off the coast of Australia before dropping into the ocean.
I totally thought it was toast when flames started coming through the base of the fin at about 20,000 kph, but it held together. Worth watching the replay, especially the last 15 minutes.
Bravo, SpaceX!
