hey @brandonfrye that's a good initiative spamming has become a big problem here on steemit but i guess you should also inform some of your followers about what exactly spamming means so they won't do that

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam

    Spamming should be self-explanatory by this point. I'm really trying to think of an exception.. but there isn't one. So if anyone tries it, their account will be reduced to nothing.
