FOLLOW ME, I JUST FOLLOWED YOU...... FOLLOW FOR FOLLOW

DO YOU GET SPAMMED DAILY? HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT IT?

Everyday steemians deal with several messages that involves looking for cheap fame and rewards. I often read several comments on my posts and lots of personal chats on steemit chat which includes

• Great post, take a look at this post https://.......

• Upvoted! I write good contents too, you should check my blog (even when the content is just like a tweet on Twitter)

• Upvoted! Make sure you Upvote and follow me, or else.... (some even place threat)

• Following now, I would appreciate if you Follow me back

• Follow for follow

These things are common among newbies who want to get known and make lots of follower as well as rewards. I wonder if the adage "Rome was not built in a day" doesn't exist again. Why beg for vote and follows when you can earn it. Rewards are meant for those who spend time and energy, not for cheap people.

DO YOU THINK FOLLOWERS GOTTEN THROUGH BEGGING WOULD INCREASE THE NUMBER OF TRAFFIC YOU GET ON YOUR POST?

I do not like to mentions names, but i would give a very simple example. I was going through the new page to shower votes on credible contents (just as i do always) , then i came across a tweet post (less than 10 word and 1 picture), so i decided to view the blog. The blog has 1000+ follower with a reputation of 33, what surprised me the most was that non of his post went above $0.40 with 3 upvotes. then i asked "where are the followers he got?"

It is better to build your small community of follwers who are willing to upvote your work because they like your content than having 10000 followers you shamelessly begged for who will not read more or less upvote.

CAN YOU GET FLAGGED FOR SPAMMING

Steemit is a community that brings together different people from all parts of the world, and at this we all have different ways to which we handle things. I might be in a very good mood to warn you warn you spam, but i might also not be too nice when i see spams.

I hope you understand what i mean; If you don't, let me help you. So many steemians with high reputation and voting power are very busy and they hate spamming a lot. Once they get a comment or private massage that looks like a spam, they might flag your post (you heard me clearly).

IF YOU WANT AN UPVOTE AND YOU WANT FOLLOWERS, INSTEAD OF BEGGING FOR IT AND AT SUCH CREATING A NUISANCE TO THE COMMUNITY, WHY NOT EARN IT. WHY NOT PROVE YOUR POST WORTH THE UPVOTE, AND YOUR BLOG DESERVES THE FOLLOW.
