Is it just me or does everyone else get people spamming their comments more now than ever before?
It doesn't happen to all my posts but I'd say a good half of them get spammed by the typical: Good Post or I like what you said I'm following you so follow me back.
I really just want to pwn these spammer's reputations with a 100% down vote but don't want to waste all my precious voting power on these turds. It does seems to be only getting worse and worse. I never use to flag someone like I do now. It was a very very rare event, maybe it was once a month but this past couple months it has been been 2 or 3 a week. now lately it's almost every day.
I think if this keeps up I'm going to start posting a list of all the people I've flagged that week and maybe you guys can help pwn some spammers too.
Just ignore them, you can do much more good and reduce ill feelings by giving an up vote to an article you like than by down voting someone who
a) Maybe doesn't know any better
b) Maybe actually liked your post and that is his way of showing it
c) Maybe can't speak English and is just trying to reach out for some help
d) Is probably a troll and can find nothing better than pissing you off and having you go on a flagging spree
So you see in any of the above cases flagging does no good, just ignore these posts.

I agree... Just move on and just respond to those who have an actual conversation. People just spamming thinking they can make a quick buck but steem don't work that way lol. They won't learn.

How is leaving a comment that you read the post and will follow spamming?
Leaving a link to some other topic or a random meep or bs, ok I agree thats spam. But who made you boss, you must be an authority figure or steemit cop.
It's the fucking internet don't take it so serious. Find something real to be peeved about or try to control freak over.

When they say the same thing to 20 different people in 5 mins it's called spam. I think most people would agree it's annoying and doesn't belong on Steemit.

Its going to get worse as Steemit gets more popular. I counter it by making thoughtful comments on peoples posts. The worst thing you can do to a spammer is ignore them
