    Steem is a kleptocracy now. It's fine, there's a better chain that does a better job of what Steem was supposed to, called Hive.

      This seems to be closer to the truth in this case. Although whether it's planned or just plain incompetence is another story. Considering this pointless blockchain is being propped up by a centralized attack, unilaterally controlled by Justin, is evidence for the latter.

      Nah, plenty of people will be happy with a spamchain if they hope to profit from it. And if there's one thing Justin is good at, it's luring in the sheep by promising rewards like a Tron airdrop. It's like looking at ads on a faucet website. Look at how many followers haejin has (not all of them are fake).
