To those who spam or may have come across spammers, this message is for them. It's not okay to use the time and effort of others in a selfish manner in order to self-promote, especially when you dont dedicate the same level of time and effort in order to promote your particular interests on your own platform. People do not and will not respect that.

Hi, @jetiknight I maybe what you would describe as a spammer. I would want to make my content a bit more engaging, however, I honestly don't know how to do it. My approach was to just put my stuff out there and hopefully over time, I'll learn a thing or two to make it more valuable.
So quantity over quality until my skill level increases. If you have any positive advice to impart I am very intrested in hearing.

No, I dont look at you as a Spammer and I dont recall you every using any sort of spam practices on my YT channel. People who are looking to figure out how to make their content more entertaining/valuable/in-depth I have no problem with. I would like to know those answers as well. My problem is more about people on youtube who put in zero effort in terms of even trying to make content yet want to take advantage of people who do put out content by placing their referrals on their channel in an effort to spread their referral code around by using the work of others. That's not cool and I dont respect it. You my friend are not one of those people that Im referring go. I will make a video regarding what you asked and will provide you my humble opinion. Follow me, and when I put that video up on YT I will link it here on Steemit. Check it out and then let me know your thoughts. I will have that video up later today.

What up brother. Funny, I was just watching a few of your videos today. My rep is low because of individuals taking advantage of the fact that I was new. I began Steemit just over 2 weeks ago. I was uploading all of my videos from my YT page onto my Steem page. Well, there were individuals who either didnt like the content that I was putting up or they didnt like the "tags" that I was using. Long story short, they were flagging my posts and using their steem power against me. Being that I was new and these people didnt actually write me and say "Hey, we dont like what you're doing" or "Hey, you're doing something wrong, stop or we'll continue to flag you", they simply continued to flag me yet was silent about it. Steemit never sent me any notifications of being flagged so I simply didnt know what was happening until a viewer of my content basically asked the same thing you did. By that time my rep was at a 5. it has taken time to get it back to where it is now. There's nothing that I can do about it. Given how Steemit is set up, the best thing for me to do is to try and avoid these people and continue to build my page, watch tags that individuals that like to police the community love to view in order to flag content and simply move on from the situation. You can look through my posts taht are hidden and you'll see brother that I did nothing wrong outside of posting my content.
