Oscuridad, suspenso y terror: eso es lo que promete llevar a los cines The New Mutants, la película basada en el universo de los X-Men que llegará a los cines en abril de 2018.
El primer trailer del film es una clara muestra de lo que se verá: una historia que, en lugar de mostrar a los mutantes como seres altruistas y siempre dispuestos a dar la vida por salvar al mundo, se concentra en enseñar lo terrorífico que puede ser poseer poderes y no saber cómo controlarlos.
The New Mutants cuenta con la dirección de Josh Boone (Bajo una misma estrella), y parece apuntar directamente a un público más adolescente. Musicalizado con una versión del clásico de Pink Floyd, "Another brick on the wall", el trailer presenta a sus protagonistas: Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones) como Wolfsbane, Charlie Heaton (Stranger Things) es Cannonball, Blu Hunt (The Originals) es Mirage y Anna Taylor-Joy (La bruja) interpreta a Magik.
