Aunque el revestimiento del estómago es bastante fuerte y puede resistir ácidos fuertes, beber demasiado alcohol, comer alimentos picantes, abusar del consumo de antiinflamatorios o fumar puede causar que el revestimiento se inflame y se irrite.
