Este filme de terror trata de una pareja, Marina y Roman, a la que le comienzan a ocurrir eventos inexplicables. Cuando ella comienza a investigar descubre que su prometido conoció a otra mujer en las orillas de un lago en el bosque y que en realidad es una sirena que está consumiendo la energía vital de Roman, poniendo en peligro su vida cada día que pasa. Este místico ser fue una vez una joven que murió ahogada hace cientos de años y los hombres que la ven y la rechazan perderán a la mujer que aman a manos de la sirena. Marina tendrá que actuar rápido si quiere salvar a Roman de las garras de la mujer del lago.
