"AIR AGROTURISM IN KONUQUITO FLY" SANTA ROSALIA PORTUGUESE STATE VENEZUELA
On this visit to ing. Ramón Bolotin, who presides over the air club known as "konuquito fly" located in the agricultural colony of Turen, a few minutes from the city of the town of Turen, he practices various activities to promote agrotourism in the Portuguese state, because there is an ultralight flight, aeromodelling, parachute jumping and balloon flight. This experience is unique and full of adrenaline, because the flight in ultralight on the sunflower, corn, rice, onion, sorghum and sesame crops depending on the time, makes it very attractive for lovers of photography. Thank you, my friend Pilot Annie Bolotin I could appreciate from the heights the agricultural airport of Turen, the town of Turen, and finally the river Acarigua on its way to empty into the imposing Portuguese River. There I shared with many farmers descendants of European immigrants, who came to Venezuela being farmers, artisans, mechanics, bakers and masons who survived the holocaust of the First and Second World War, coming from countries like Italy, Germany, France, Ukraine, Croatia, England, Spain, Canary Islands, among others. Thanks to the support that Colonel Marcos Pérez Jiménez gave them in 1952, he placed them in this kind land with the future vision of developing agriculture in our country, granting them land and agricultural credits through the extinct National Agrarian Institute (IAN) . Which made Turen a mixture of criollos and foreigners, giving rise to a new working class of the field based on knowledge, to the most beautiful women of the state in this new lineage, and to their excellent culinary customs in the best European style (from wrinkled potatoes, tripe to the Madrid, Spanish chorizo, chickpeas, etc.), enhancing our Portuguese state as today is known as the "Granero de Venezuela".
