Buenos días a todos mis seguidores y amigos de steemit, recientemente publiqué un post sobre las peleas de perro en Cuba y el abuzo al que están sometidos estos animales.
Los métodos de entrenamiento son tan abusivos como el propio combate a muerte en la vallas; desde pequeños la vida de estos animales se resume a fuertes entrenamientos y peleas a muerte.
En este post les quiero enseñar cómo funcionan los crueles métodos de entrenamiento y todo el maltrato y abuzo que sufren los perros desde pequeños, mi mayor objetivo con este tipo de post es darle a conocer al mundo lo que pasa en Cuba para tratar de frenar el abuzo animal ya que las autoridades de la Isla no hacen nada al respecto.

Desde pequeños e incluso antes de nacer estos animales están destinados a morir peleando. Sus vidas se resumen en fuertes entrenamientos y peleas a muerte en las vallas clandestinas en Cuba, el objetivo para algunas de estas inescrupulosas personas es ganar dinero en las apuestas, para otros se trata solo de diversión y entretenimiento como si del coliseo romano se tratara.

Las peleas de perros son la causa más seria de abuso animal en Cuba, la mayoría de estos animales pierden frecuentemente la vida debido a que muchas de estas peleas solo terminan cuando uno de los dos oponentes muere.
Los veterinarios y entrenadores de perros usan métodos abusivos para ejercitar los perros y que tengan un mayor desempeño en las peleas.
Entrenar, cuidar y preparar un perro de pelea es una inversión que se recupera en las apuestas. A los perros les suministran dosis muy bien calculas de esteroides y hormonas como testosterona, para aumentar la agresividad del animal en el combate así como todas sus capacidades físicas; fuerza, velocidad y resistencia. La efedrina también es usada para mejorar las cualidades del perro, su salud o los daños que reciban en su organismo a causa de estos medicamentos poco le importan a sus dueños que tienen como único objetivo ganar dinero.
Una sesión normal de entrenamiento puede comenzar con colgar el perro mordiendo un neumático de automóvil soportando su propio peso por el mayor tiempo posible. De esta forma aumenta considerablemente la fuerza de la mordida.
Luego usan ejercicios especiales con peso, hacer correr al perro en la arena de la playa por más de 45 minutos, cesiones de natación y carrera por más de 8 kilómetros arrastrando a sus dueños en una bicicleta. Para trabajar la resistencia, hacer subir y bajar gradas en un estadio muchas veces y una de las etapas finales consiste en echar a pelear el perro con otro, pero con un bozal en la boca puesto para que aprenda a resistir las mordidas de su contrincante y prenda a esquivar.

Todos estos brutales métodos de entrenamiento son usados por varios meses consecutivos, la dieta especial a base de carnes rojas como la res o el carnero en la etapa inicial, y el pescado y el pollo en la etapa final del entrenamiento, forman parte los gastos que luego se recuperan en las apuestas.
Además del cruel tratamiento que estos perros reciben en su entrenamiento estos perros se consideran que ya no valen para los encuentros acaban siendo sacrificados de forma brutal, muchas veces estrangulados, o incluso degollados por sus propios dueños.
Es de vital importancia que en Cuba se implante alguna ley que proteja los animales, hasta el momento no existe ninguna y es por esto que pasan cosas como esta y todos los fines de semana mueran muchos perros con el único propósito de divertir y enriquecer a personas inescrupulosas que practican este tipo de actividades.
