En esta oportunidad les traigo una publicación acerca de uno de mis minerales favoritos: el cristal cuarzo, un cristal que abunda en la superficie terrestre.
Drusa de cristal cuarzo.
- Estos cristales se presentan en 3 diferentes tipos de formaciones: drusas, geodas o cristales hexagonales.
Cristal cuarzo en formación Geoda
La geoda es una cavidad rocosa en la que en las paredes de su interior minerales se han cristalizado debido a la acumulación de agua subterránea. Por afuera parece una roca corriente sin embargo la belleza de su interior es hipnotizante.
El cristal cuarzo posee una gran energía y se usa mucho en la joyería, ya que además de ser hermosa, tiene la capacidad de balancear las energías del cuerpo humano de una manera sutil y efectiva a la vez, también se puede utilizar en ambientes para limpiar la energía negativa.
Este cristal también es conocido como cristal de roca, es compuesto por dióxido de silicio y contiene propiedades pieroeléctricas (al cambiar de temperatura generan una corriente eléctrica) y piezoeléctricas (generan voltaje bajo presión y pueden cambiar su forma) por lo que se ha utilizado como elemento clave en la fabricación de relojes digitales y algunos relojes de aguja.
Cuarzo ahumado: ayuda en la meditación, promueve el pensamiento positivo y ayuda a contrarrestar las radiaciones electromagnéticas.
Entre las variedades del cristal cuarzo se encuentran el cuarzo blanco, cuarzo rosado, y el cuarzo ahumado.
Cristal cuarzo rosado, pulido en forma de corazón es la pieza principal de mi collar hecho a mano por mi amiga Dannielle, y cristal cuarzo rosado en bruto.
- El cuarzo rosa es usado en las prácticas de reiki y la holistica en general para abrir el corazón, aumentar el amor propio y amor hacia los demás.
Cuarzo blanco : la variación más común del cristal cuarzo, este cristal promueve la paz y reduce el stress.

@mahisamim those are crystal quarts with slight variations of smoky quartz, white quartz and rose quartz. I have a big collection so I'm not sure where I got them from, I usually buy them at crystal/ rock stores, also lots of my friends gift them to me. Crystal quartz can be found in nature, mostly in Brazil and the USA, though this form of crystal is very abundant in the whole Earth. I hope I clarified your doubts.

Me encataaaaaaaa!!!! Yo como casi geofísico una de las cosas que he estudiado son los minerales. De verdad me encató tu post. Hace un par de años hice una excursión a la Gran Sabana con varios compañeros de clase y uno de los lugares de visitamos fue un lugar que creo que se llamaba la casa del cristal. Eso estaba lleno de minerales, y había cuarzo por todos lados, y en el patio tenían como un recorrido que decían que al finalizarlos se te iban todas las malas energías :D

Los minerales son apasionantes. La azurita y la celestita son unos de mis preferidos. Si te gustan mucho los minerales y en algún momento visítas méxico date una vuelta por el museo de geología. Seguro te encantará. Te dejo un link de una reseña que hice.
