Hola amig@s steemian@s, hoy les traigo un excelente post de unas hermosas aves, logrando tomar algunas fotografías de lejos, ya que estas solo de dejan llegar a poca distancia por su naturaleza de ser salvajes.
Las corocoras o garzas rojas, como les dicen en el llano, son unas hermosas aves con un plumaje de color rojo y se pueden conseguir en las cercanías de ambientes acuáticos, como lagunas, esteros, ciénagas y lagos, debido a que su alimento lo pueden conseguir traspasando aguas poco profundas para logra capturar crustáceos, insectos, caracoles, peces minúsculos y otros pequeños animales acuáticos.
Cabe resaltar que las garzas rojas son de la familia (Threskiornithidae) y estas son nativas de Sudamérica.
En los llanos venezolanos son muy comunes las corocoras, en esta época son pocos los espacios donde se pueden conseguir, ya que es en la temporada de lluvias cuando abunda esta especie, debido que para este periodo se aparean para su reproducción.
