“Estados Unidos está revocando visas a los miembros de la Asamblea Constituyente ilegítima”, señaló a periodistas Elliot Abrams, enviado para Venezuela del secretario de Estado, Mike Pompeo. Ese cuerpo legislativo está presidido por el dirigente chavista Diosdado Cabello e integrado, entre otros miembros, por el hijo de Maduro.

Abrams también señaló que el momento para el diálogo con Nicolás Maduro “ya pasó”, salvo que sea para negociar su salida del poder, y reforzó el respaldo estadounidense al presidente (E) de Venezuela, Juan Guaidó.

"The United States is revoking visas for members of the illegitimate Constituent Assembly," Elliot Abrams, the Venezuelan envoy to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, told reporters.
