Information in real time and generating html with C #

i use this method to show the information in real time. i am a student and i learned this form to do this. i don't know if is correct but i'm studying

here you can see the inbox, but this information is in real time. if an user send a inbox. i don't need refresh the page for see the information. i receive the inbox and my widgets change the number
