Magnavox Odyssey (1972)

Es la primera videoconsola de la historia. Fue creada por Ralph Baer (el padre de los videojuegos) y fabricada por Magnavox.

Atari 2600 (1977)

Videoconsola fabricada por Atari. Fue lanzada con el nombre de Atari VCS, la cual utilizaba cartuchos intercambiables.

Color TV Game (1977)

Es la primera consola fabricada por Nintendo, salieron en 6 tipos de colores: Naranja, Azul, Rojo, Celeste, Amarillo y Blanco (siendo el blanco el más valorado debido a que fue una versión alternativa y salieron pocas de ella).

Creada por la empresa alemana Universum. Esta consola contaba con sus propios cartuchos.
