Gracias amigo @alepaez,

La finalidad de obtener la red, es permitir calcular el resto de direcciones. De ahí se calcularía, la primera dirección utilizable, la última e incluso, la dirección de difusión.

En próximos artículos escribiré sobre esos temas.
