En Venezuela, Jessy Divo de Romero, Rectora de la Universidad de Carabobo fue retenida en Aeropuerto Internacional Arturo Michelena, de la ciudad de Valencia cuando se disponía a viajar a Miami.
La autoridad universitaria fue bajada del avión y además se le dictó medida de privación de abandonar el país. Recientemente Divo a mantenido algunos pleitos judiciales a partir de unas denuncias y/o acusaciones hechas en su contra por el actual gobernados del Estado Carabobo, ciudadano Rafael Lacava.
