El día de hoy les traigo la 17ma entrega de la serie Hablemos de Plantas Medicinales, le toca el turno a la: CALENDULA.
Esta planta herbácea de nombre científico (Calendula officinalis), que llega a crecer de 20 a 55 centímetros de altura, es erguida y ramificada, generalmente con hojas casi hasta la parte de arriba son alternas, las hojas son simples, oblongas-lanceoladas, estrechamente obovadas, Las flores son liguladas y amarillas,cerrándose de noche y abriéndose a al amanecer, la floración dura casi todo el año, el olor que desprenden las flores es desagradable y su sabor es amargo.
INDICACIONES:
Callos y Verrugas: Machacando hojas frescas y aplicándolas sobre callos y verrugas varios días seguidos hasta que desaparezcan .
Acné, Dermatitis y LLagas: Usar hojas frescas machacadas con algo de agua caliente y colocar compresas tibias en la zona afectada.
Hongos o pie de atleta: aplicar el zumo de hojas frescas en las zona afectada 2 veces al día reduce efectivamente la afección

casualmente hoy me trajeron las flores de la caléndula recomendada para tratar la Psorriasis, dicen que la machaque junto con alguna crema.
me recomiendan, por su olor fuerte, usar una crema con fragancia para rebajarlo.
Otro uso que me han referido es el de plantar la mata en los sembrados para evitar usar pesticidas.
