These are important lessons for the Entrepreneur, but in reality they are part of what all Professionals who wish to excel in their activities and in Life should recognize and practice.

"Be the best in the world in what you do"

In the professional world, the Value of people is represented by the Quality of the things they do, not necessarily by the things they know, always by what they actually do, because there are few who know but finally do not do concrete things. . In this the quality of performance requires bridges to be bridged between aptitude and attitude, because it is the latter that enables knowledge to materialize for benefit.

Any person who wishes to succeed professionally in life should pursue being "the best in the world in what he does", not the best of the company, the neighborhood, the city or the country, but the best of all. That is an individual to whom destiny gives him a table so he can serve whatever he wants.

They are the Problems, the Frustrations, the Losses and the Failures who never lie and better teach the solutions and remedies.

The Entrepreneur must realize that the best teachers and quality guidelines will not come from that "supportive environment". He lacks the empathy to identify with his experiences. They are the Problems, Frustrations, Losses and Failures who will never lie to you and teach solutions and remedies.

Failure is a teacher of more value than Success, adversities forge character as few things and the resolution of problems leads to wisdom.

Bring optimism in the heart and pessimism in the head.

The Entrepreneur has to be a Pessimist, of course! Because Optimist sure is already from the early stages of his formation in life. He must also be a Pessimist, and with great care. The life of business is not simple, the obstacles populate the road and the "propensity to see and judge things from their most unfavorable angle" serves to size, weigh and attack the difficulties. It serves, in short, to be prepared and act according to the demands that the situation poses.

This does not mean that the Entrepreneur or any other person should always interpret things from the unfavorable edge, of course not! The important thing is that he does it as naturally as the one that motivates him to see the favorable things. Being a pessimist must be as good as being an optimist.

Perseverance is not a substitute for the ability to LEAD the business and make decisions.

Perseverance can not replace the essential ability to direct the business, it is not an alternative to intuition and knowledge of the trade.

The Entrepreneur can be more or less Persevering but NEVER a man who does not make decisions. In the business world a man who makes decisions is an asset of incomparable value. The environmental conditions change dramatically and the need to adapt to them is a requirement for survival. When it comes to making decisions you can not hesitate. Perseverance itself is in fact a decision, in the causal relation it is an Effect and can not become a Cause.

Advertising is INDISPENSABLE requirement. The orderly and productive work will not be fruitful if nobody knows it and is willing to "buy and pay for it".

Advertising is a very sensitive element when the entrepreneur starts his activities. In that moment the challenge is to get the Market to know the offer that is being raised; without this none of the other virtues will serve to perfect the Business, if "nobody knows" what is being offered automatically loses value everything that is being done.

The Idea that gives form to the enterprise, the work to develop it, the benefits of the product and the general value of the Business will not be useful without the possibility that all this is made known.

Advertising should NOT be positioned at the end of the process, it is a consideration that must be done at the same time that the Entrepreneurial Idea is conceived. The Entrepreneur must have at least one general criterion of the way in which he will communicate his idea to the Market at the same time that he is working it.

Debts are neither good nor bad, they are more or less necessary.

The "mental model" regarding debts, built from an early age, takes root in that field that people interpret as Security. It is the same model that understands that employment is "more secure", that retirement provides "guarantees in the future", that university education is the best way to learn a trade, etc. For this "mental model" the debt threatens Security.

People who start an enterprise "break" with effort this "mental model" and leave their security zones. The mere fact of making the decision to undertake confronts atavistic precepts and generational slogans. The premises of the model are not easily overcome, many accompany the Entrepreneur for a long time. And one of those "companions" is the concept formed about the debts.

In the case of the Entrepreneur debt is essential. Without it, entrepreneurship does not exist.

The Strategic Decisions, the most important or transcendental decisions, must not be taken under the criterion of enabling a "B" Plan, they must be taken under the criterion of "Burning Ships".

The decisions with Plan "B" are made by all, the big men "Queves Naves" behind their decision, that is why they arrive at greatness, because they do not allow themselves anything else.

Make Victoria the only option. "There is no substitute for Victory."

When the premise of making Victory the ONLY option is fixed in the mind, man achieves all the Potential that he has. It is full of character, imagination and creativity. This way he realizes the size he has, the vast capacity he possesses, of the reservoir of "mental adrenaline" that he is endowed with since he arrives in this world.

Few people live at the level of all the Potential they have. This is only achieved when it is decided to make Victoria the only option.

The ability for SALES is not a professional requirement, it is a demand that Life presents to achieve the purposes that are held. The Sales and the own sense of Business are not inscribed in the commercial sense of things, they are rooted in the character of everything that explains existence.

Without Patience you never reach the goal.

The Entrepreneur is familiar with the association of success with Perseverance, but is it possible to persevere without first being patient? Perseverance is the vehicle that allows reaching the objectives, but Patience is the fuel that moves that vehicle. Behind a persevering person there is not necessarily a stubborn or self-confident man, there is above all a very patient being.

And Patience is provided by the Tests that are faced with joy, with joy of encouragement, with a sense of benefit.
