No existe evidencia de un origen animal, ni que el primer contacto con el virus fuera animal-hombre.

En este caso, primero fue decretada la epidemia por ser sólo en esa ciudad de China, Wuhan donde se detectaron los casos y en el mismo espacio de tiempo.

Pero, al ya estar presente en los 5 continentes, de forma tan acelerada y rápida, se decreta la pandemia por parte de la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS) que es el ente u organismo encargado.

Una pandemia es una epidemia que llega a propagarse de forma rápida y afecta otros países y continentes en un mismo período de tiempo. Este estatus es decretado por la Organización Mundial de la Salud. Órgano que maneja las cifras oficiales.

Se dice que de no controlar la enfermedad en 1 año según los estudios estadísticos el 40% de la población mundial tendría el coronavirus.
