Este día se celebra en honor a nuestra madre tierra, se empezó a conmemorar con la intención de crear conciencia sobre los tantos problemas que aquejan a la humanidad y así mismo a nuestro planeta. Los principales son:
SOBRE POBLACIÓN
CONTAMINACIÓN
CALENTAMIENTO GLOBAL
CONSERVACIÓN DE LA BIO-DIVERSIDAD.
Todas las acciones con el mismo fin que es proteger nuestro hogar que es la tierra.
Esta en nuestras manos el mantener y mejorar nuestro planeta para construir un futuro sustentable para nosotros y nuestras próximas generaciones. Hoy es un gran día para empezar a poner nuestro granito de arena generando acciones para garantizar la estadía de la humanidad en este planeta durante miles de años mas.

Me gusto muchísima la frase de Luther king, siempre hay que tener en cuenta el impacto ambiental que resultara de nuestras acciones, así sea botar un papel en la calle, y claro hay que dar mas educación con respecto al medio ambiente.
