Experience about my holiday in Gran canaria islands - Spain

My Holiday tour to Gran canario (Las Palmas and Maspalomas) was the unforgettable holiday full of experience and fun , sea and sun was the only thing that I needed after working so hard over the past years, 15 days of relaxation, swimming, fine dining

Gran Canaria is the most second populous island of the Canary Islands, off northwestern Africa. Grand carania’s capital is Las Palmas, and it’s one of world’s most perfect climate

After searching online and reading too many different comments and ideas i finally booked my ticket to Las Palmas it was hard to find the sun I was looking for specially at winter time in Europe.

Traveled early morning on Wednesday just to catch on the sun in Las Palmas , I couldn’t find a direct flight so I booked transit to Barcelona, I was not impressed it was winter dark and cold in Barcelona I thought this could be the same weather and you could tell from my face how shocked I was ,I didn’t give up hope and I continued my journey, finally I arrived it was about 16:30 and when I came outside the airport, the sun was still there, my face changed immediately from depressed to impressed and happy. Took a taxi to the hotel I booked, four star sea side, the price was really impressive

When I arrived I was full of energy didn’t even take a nap I was straight down to the sea I just wanted to smell the fresh air and the smell of the sea was to die for

Seeing people walking with their dogs , kids and happy couples everyone just enjoying this beautiful times. I came back to the hotel just after midnight I was so tired I didn’t even feel how far I walked, I slept so deep like a baby and i couldn’t wake up until 14:20 when I looked at the clock I was so shocked I didn’t feel the time and didn’t even wake up once.

Took quick shower and I came outside there was too many restaurants and cafeterias, all presents different country whenever u sit and eat is like you feel like you are in that country like Marroco restaurants you would feel like you are in Marroco and so on. . !

After I ate I went shopping so I can buy suitable clothes for swimming and to get map and the tourist attractions. While looking at the map I found that Maspalomas was not far and when I checked its weather was hotter than Las Palmas. That day i stayed at Las Palmas and enjoyed swimming and sunbathing until the sunset, then I went back to the hotel to have a shower and get dressed for night out, restaurant at the tarres beach view eating while enjoying the view.

The next day I went to find out the way to go Maspalomas and went on the couch it took me about 45 minuets to get there but the surprise was how beautiful this place was it was amazing green everywhere and the buildings where amazing colourful and the beach was another level I wasn’t really expecting it to be this beautiful but just wait until I get to the beach and people playing sea surfing, swimming,sea bike was everywhere and you can even ride parachute to get to see all masplomas.

I wasn’t prepared to swim I was only planning to explore this beautiful place in this beautiful weather so I went to eat in Italian seafood restaurant actually it was my first time trying shells I call it an experience. Even though I know I had to travel back to Las Palmas it felt like and adventure going back and returning to Maspalomas everyday

The day before my final day I had to go to Lebanon restaurant which was amazing the food the staff and the service all was excellent I had to try their traditional food which I really loved. It was a journey to always remember, they say what happens in holidays stays in holiday but for me what happened in that holiday came back with me to Norway and will stay in my memory. I felt that I had to share this beautiful little journey in my little holiday I hope you enjoyed reading it and I will definitely going back very soon.
