Salo, como se le llama cariñosamente al futbolista vinotinto, viene de permanecer por tres temporadas en el también equipo inglés West Bromwich Albion . Esta nueva temporada El Glaidiador tendrá la posibilidad de reencontrarse en un club con más nombre y mayores posibilidades dentro de la Premier League.
Esperemos que con un equipo más competitivo Salo encuentre un impulso motivacional que lo enrumbe por un nuevo despertar en su carrera que se ha visto algo apagada y creemos necesitada de un sacudón importante. Ojalá sea este cambio de aires lo que permita que Salo se reencuentre, de modo regular, con su perfil de goleador y nos regale muchísimas alegrías a los venezolanos de aquí en adelante.
