El primer paso es formar un patrón con las telas elegidas, este es el momento más divertido porque podés combinar colores o texturas. Pegar por el revés con la plancha la entretela, luego coser por el derecho las uniones de las telas, esto le dará prolijidad a los paños del bolso.
Las medidas de los paños son rectángulos de 58cm x 40cm y dos tiras de 8cm por 88cm. Para hacer la base es necesario cortar cuadrados de 10cm x 10cm en el inferior de las piezas y coser siempre con puntada recta y reforzar con zigzag. Para darle mayor firmeza también se debe realizar un forro del mismo tamaño y confeccionar un bolsillo del tamaño a elección, este sólo irá cosido al forro.
