Hi everyone its day 4 into my Benidorm holiday, and today I’m excited because I finally plucked up the courage to go out and weather the storm, so to speak.
The sun is shining which is a bonus, nevertheless I wasn’t stepping outside the door until every inch of my flesh was covered. I’m a tough old cookie and will face anything if I had too, even a fierce lion, but when it comes to the cold that’s a different matter. Heavy rain, thunder, lightning and gale "fierce" not force winds that cut into the skin was not mentioned in the holiday brochure at the time of booking.
Well I’m in Benidorm now so best make the most of my time here.
My fellow travelling companion’s questions: to @racykacy
- Where do you want to go to today? Somewhere HOT please.
- How about we hit the beach? How about we don’t.
- What would you like to eat? Curry…preferably HOT?
- Want an ice cream? You’re having a laugh ain’t yer.
- Where are you sleeping tonight? In the sauna.
- How do you get to your apartment? Over hot coals if there’s any on route
- How do you get around Benidorm? In a HOT ROD Mobility Scooter beep- beep outta the way everyone.

Last question: Is there anything in Benidorm you’re not going to moan about other from the COLD? No more moaning from me as I have a solution to keeping warm. Why I didn’t think of it before is beyond me!

If you like curry, you need to try Spice of Life in Benidorm it's the oldest and best curry place. They do amazing food :D

Yes I do like curry @kaisertom and I think I have eaten there, but I'm very fortunate, because my son who lives here in Benidorm is one great cook and no matter the dish he makes it is like something Gordon Ramsey would serve, only without the cursing... having said that the air can turn blue if he's asked to the dishes... he he Take care

I'm a Brit up in Cala Millor at present and its cold and raining - reminds my of England sadly!
Visited Benidorm at the end of September, nice and hot back then!

Hi and yes it is cold and I too was here in August until September 26th and it was lovely. I go on about the cold as bit of banter, and the weather like you say is like England, but the best part about it is, we are both in BENIDORM...yay
