Sexto sentido / The Sixth Sense película estadounidense de suspenso del año 1999 dirigida por M. Night Shyamalan, sobre un guión original propio.

El psicólogo Malcolm Crowe se encuentra pasando una agradable velada con su mujer, Anna. Ambos son felices. De pronto, uno de los pacientes de Crowe, Vincent Gray irrumpe en su hogar. Crowe intenta calmarle pero el chico trastornado y alterado le dispara. Enseguida el chico se suicida.

Años después, la situación ha cambiado. Crowe es un amargado doctor que se ha divorciado de su mujer y que se redime intentando curar a niños con problemas mentales. Ahora trata a Cole Sear, un niño de 8 años, muy inteligente pero aterrorizado que vive con su madre, y que dice ver muertos.

El niño vive intensas angustias al verse perseguido continuamente por espíritus que intentan contarle las circunstancias de sus trágicas muertes.

Poco a poco, el psicólogo Crowe irá descubriendo la impresionante verdad del niño y de él mismo.
