El futbolista venezolano Josef Martínez que milita en la MLS de EEUU, se convirió en el único jugador de aquella liga en anotar por 6ta ocasión un triplete de goles.
En último partido que su equipo el Atlanta United ante el DC United, de Wayne Rooney, Martínez alcanzó su 6to hat-trick en su paso por la MLS, convirtiéndose así en el único jugador en alcanzar esa hazaña en el fútbol profesional de los Estados Unidos.
El pequeño Martinez, orgullo de la vinotinto venezolana, dijo sentirse muy orgulloso por el record pero más aún por haber ayudado a su equipo a alcanzar la victoria 3x1, en un partido que comenzaron perdiendo. Josef considera que sus logros son el fruto del esfuerzo y el trabajo constante que realiza día a día.
