Martínez continúa cosechando triunfos durante el 2018 pues no sólo ha implantado una marca de 31 goles en la liga, sino que además formó parte del 11 ideal de la MLS , como también formó parte de la portada PSP FIFA 2019 en EEUU, y para rematar formará parte de la final de la la liga MLS cuando mañana sábado su club Atlanta United se mida al equipo, del tambien venezolano Geovani Savarese, los Portland Timber.
En fin, un año de ensueño para el joven delantero venezolano, oriundo del estado Carabobo, sólo falta para terminar de redondear su año deportivo que el ariete logre el campeonato con su equipo el Atlanta United donde además fue el jugador más popular puesto que su camiseta fue una de las prendas deportivas más vendidas en toda la ciudad de Atlanta.
