The so-called Blue Blood Superluna (blue moon) refers to the second full moon that occurs in a month. Therefore, it is merely a question of deadlines, and has nothing to do with the color of the satellite.

This phenomenon is the third of a series of superlunas that occur when the moon is closest to Earth in its orbit.

During the astronomical event, people will be able to see the moon up to 14% larger and 30% brighter.

In the eclipse, the moon will glide towards the shadow of the earth, passing gradually from a white disk of light to orange or red, as sunlight reflects through the atmosphere.

The alignment of the Sun, Moon and Earth will last one hour and 16 minutes and can be seen in parts of western North America, Asia, the Middle East and Australia
